§ 8-3. Internet e-mail usage.

    Freedom of Information. All incoming and outgoing e-mail pertaining to Village business that could be subject to a Freedom of Information request must be printed and filed as if it were a letter.
    B. 
    Password. Your e-mail password is confidential and is not to be shared with anyone else.
    C. 
    Virus protection. Do not open or download any e-mail attachments unless you are expecting to receive them. Even attachments from people you know may contain a virus.
    D. 
    Anonymous. All e-mails sent by Village personnel must have the sender's name attached to them.
    E. 
    Spam. Village personnel must not send unsolicited bulk mailings to any e-mail addresses.
    F. 
    Denial of service. Village personnel must not send repetitive e-mails to an e-mail address in sufficient quantity to create a bottleneck on the recipient's mail server.
